Job Description
At Casebook, Customer Experience is a driving force in our organization. The Lead Business Analyst is a key role in working with prospective and current customers who require additional support and services on top of our standard implementation packages. The Lead BA’s top priority is to make our customers successful and ensure that their work is delivered quickly, accurately, and with personable support.
As the Lead Business Analyst at Casebook, your task is to make our customers successful by defining add-on requirements - such as form development, data import, integration and report building - and estimating that work so that the customer can sign off and our team of offshore BAs and other collaborators can execute upon the customer’s priorities.
This role relies upon a blend of customer-facing communication, technical scoping and project coordination skills. Our customers rely on Casebook for their day-to-day work with vulnerable populations and we want to provide the best service we possibly can.
Responsibilities include:
Provide subject matter expertise both internally and to our customers
As needed, interpret customer unique business needs, rules, requirements and processes to develop documentation and guidance
Lead scoping, estimation and execution of customer configuration, data import and system integration for the off-shore configuration team
Work closely with customers and help them to articulate their configuration, import and integration requirements
Work with information technology professionals to develop a solution that meets business requirements
Conduct business analysis and research to identify key metrics and opportunities for improvement
Consult with key stakeholders to determine business objectives and success factors
Lead the team of BAs to configure system settings, develop and test forms, to support data import and system integration as needed
Present findings, recommendations and status updates to stakeholders
Collaborate with customer and quality assurance teams to identify needed test data and develop acceptance criteria that ensure expected work is validated
Identify, report, and mitigate risks and issues
Develop processes and procedures to ensure business solutions meet strategic goals
Ensure business processes are running in accordance with Agile methodologies
Continuously improve existing business processes and strive to develop new ones to improve efficiency
Qualifications
Required :
Experience executing the above responsibilities using Agile methodology
Five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst
Two (2) years of experience working in Agile projects
Demonstrated detailed analytical and problem solving abilities
Strong experience in user testing
Experience developing requirements and documenting user stories
Experience with SQL database management and maintenance skills
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Experience working with remote teams
Exceptional communication skills
Preferred :
Experience with B2B IT systems and/or modular implementations
Experience with successfully completed IT legacy replacement projects
Two (2) years experience in social services programs
Two (2) years experience with SLED government IT projects
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree, or at least six (6) years of relevant industry experience in the areas of administration, information technology, business operations or finance
