Job Description
About the Role
You’ll support our business & marketing efforts in Malaysia (and help out a little with Taiwan), working closely with the Malaysia Category Associate Manager. It’s a friendly, supportive team — you don’t need to know everything on day one. We’re looking for someone curious, organised and eager to learn, and we’ll guide you along the way.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the team to help develop and run marketing campaigns that support our business goals.
- Maintain an organised marketing calendar to help plan and coordinate marketing communications in the Malaysia market.
- Manage and coordinate social media content and communications, working with internal teams to ensure messaging is timely, engaging, and aligned with campaign objectives.
- Support the translation, localisation, and proofreading of marketing materials, campaign communications, and content to ensure messaging is accurate, consistent, and tailored to the local audience.
- Collaborate with regional teams — including Marketing, Brand, Design and Customer Support — to keep campaigns aligned and running smoothly.
- Monitor ongoing campaigns, look at how they’re performing, and share simple insights to help improve them.
- Do data analysis and market research to spot ideas for better campaigns, and suggest fresh ideas, partnerships or activations.
- Stay on top of trends in the local market, social media, e-commerce and digital marketing, and use what you learn to help campaigns stay relevant.
- Help support sellers and partners, and lend a hand on campaign activations and content as needed.
- Support day-to-day business operations and help keep initiatives and projects on track.
- Prepare decks and updates for internal stakeholders.
- Liaising with external stakeholders for potential collaboration and partnership
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Social media savvy: Familiar with platforms like Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
- Self-motivated: Independent, proactive, and eager to take ownership of projects and pick up new skills.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Malay.
- AI Readiness: Comfortable exploring and leveraging AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Canva AI, or similar solutions to improve productivity, creativity, and problem-solving. Prior experience with such tools is an advantage.
