Job Description

Chợ Tốt is Vietnam's leading classifieds marketplace, connecting millions of buyers and sellers across 4 verticals: Chợ Tốt, Xe Tốt, Việc Làm Tốt, and Nhà Tốt. We're growing — new user numbers are up — but we know that acquiring users is only half the job. The real challenge is activating them: helping them find their first relevant listing, make their first meaningful action, and come back.

Now we need a Growth PM to own this domain end-to-end — building on what we've learned, designing the next wave of experiments, and systematically improving how we turn first-time visitors into loyal users with a strong focus on our Mobile-First strategic direction.

What you'll own

  • New user activation funnel — own the full journey from first app open to first meaningful action (adview, lead, listing). Diagnose drop-off, run experiments, and ship improvements that move the activation rate.
  • Onboarding experience — evolve the onboarding flow based on data and user research. Reduce skip rates, improve match quality, and personalize the first-session experience.
  • Growth experimentation — design, run, and analyze A/B tests with rigor. Own the hypothesis backlog, work with analysts to size opportunities, and build a compounding experimentation cadence.
  • High-velocity executionThrive in a fast-paced, structured agile environment driven by a strict 1-week Sprint delivery cadence. Move growth metrics from day one through rapid, hands-on implementation.
  • Re-engagement — identify and build features or flows that nudge users toward those actions in their first week.
  • Discovery & search quality — partner with engineering, analytics, and marketing teams to improve listing relevance, search results, and feed personalization for new users.
  • Product roadmap — translate growth insights into a prioritized roadmap. Manage complex stakeholder matrixes independently, control your product domain, and keep technical delivery smoothly on track.

Qualifications

Must-have:

  • 3–4 years of product management experience, with at least 1–2 years in a growth, activation, or retention-focused role (consumer app or marketplace preferred).
  • Strong delivery ownership — A proven track record of working closely with engineering teams to ship features continuously. You are deeply hands-on and can adapt instantly to quick product delivery cycles.
  • Structured Agile Experience — Proven ability to operate within established, high-velocity product frameworks (e.g., 1-week sprints). We value structured collaboration over ad-hoc, top-down execution.
  • Strong analytical instincts — comfortable reading funnel data, interpreting cohort analysis, designing A/B tests, and drawing actionable conclusions from charts and dashboards. You don't need to write SQL but you need to think in data.
  • Experience building and owning an experimentation roadmap — not just running tests, but knowing how to sequence them and learn from failure.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous user behavior signals into clear problem statements, hypotheses, and product decisions.
  • Strong communication skills — you can write a crisp PRD, present findings to leadership, and align a cross-functional team without over-escalating.
  • Bias for action — comfortable making decisions with imperfect information and iterating quickly.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with onboarding, personalization, or recommendation systems.
  • Familiarity with the Vietnamese consumer market and user behavior.
  • Experience in classifieds, marketplaces, or two-sided platform products.
  • A proactive mindset toward Gen-AI adoption in product workflows.
