Job Description
About the Role
At Carousell Group, we are on a mission to inspire the world to start selling. As a Strategy Intern in the Founder’s Office, you’ll get a front-row seat to how strategic decisions are made in one of Southeast Asia’s leading marketplaces.
This is not a typical internship — you’ll work directly with senior leaders on high-impact projects, from platform monetisation and pricing studies to market research and annual planning. If you’re hungry to learn, comfortable with ambiguity, and eager to roll up your sleeves, this is the perfect opportunity to accelerate your growth.
What You’ll Do
Partner with the Strategy Director to deliver analyses and insights for key strategic projects.
Conduct market research and data analysis across Carousell Group entities (Carousell, Mudah, ChoTot, and more).
Translate findings into actionable recommendations and support stakeholder alignment.
Get exposure to Founder’s Office initiatives including Annual Operating Plans, budgeting exercises, and growth strategies.
Contribute ideas and value from day one in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
Curious, driven, and humble — with a strong hunger to learn.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel required.
Good communication skills, both written and spokenPrior internship or work experience in consulting, digital marketplaces, or high-growth startups is highly valued
Comfortable using AI tools and exploring new ways of working.
