Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Implement marketing campaigns across both in-app and out of app channels, develop an understanding of measuring campaign performance
Ensure day-to-day operational excellence of marketing activities
Conceptualize social media strategy, manage and execute ideas on social media platforms. Create engaging, informative and visually appealing content
Liaising with internal stakeholders to produce and develop marketing assets
Support the team with data reporting and generating insights
Monitor user behavior and engagement within the Carousell app and provide insights to improve campaign performance.
Ideate and test low-cost social content: Generate creative ideas and concepts for engaging social media content. Utilize basic filming and editing skills to create hacky videos. Stay updated with social media trends and adapt content creation strategies accordingly
Adhoc operational support for the marketing team
Qualifications
*This is a full-time, 6-month internship starting January 2026.
Currently pursuing a course majoring in Marketing or Business in a Polytechnic or University.
Familiarity with social media platforms and their content requirements.
Strong copywriting skills
Ability to generate insights and recommendations from large datasets
Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google Suite applications, particularly Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs and Powerpoint/Slides
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Innovative mindset and ability to think creatively to solve problems within operating constraints.
Multi-tasker with strong project management capability
Team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment
Keen interest in Carousell and how secondhand marketplaces operate
Available to commit to full-time work for 6 months
