Caribbean University is a non-profit higher education institution with locations in Bayamon, Carolina, Ponce and Vega Baja.  It has a holistic and comprehensive, open-door policy towards higher education.

1) Manage all aspects of the Activity;

2) Manage and monitor the Activity budget;

3) Prepare monthly budget summaries;

4) Guarantee successful and timely completion of the Activity’s implementation strategies and approved objectives (including research objectives);

5) Recruit, screen, select, train, and supervise Activity staff;

6) Ensure that required evaluation data is gathered;

7) Provide leadership to activity personnel to analyze and interpret evaluation data and make recommendations based on them;

8) Assure compliance with applicable federal, state and institutional regulations; and,

9) Provide input for formative and summative reports regarding the Activity as prescribed in the evaluation plan.

This position requires demonstrated administrative experience in higher education, including supervision of personnel and budget management.

A minimum of a master’s degree is required (doctorate preferred), with at least five years of experience in education and technology-based programs serving underprepared and first-generation college students.

Experience in student support initiatives, a working knowledge of current educational learning theories, and familiarity with best practices in academic success, particularly for underrepresented student populations.
