CarePoint Health has combined the resources of three hospitals— Bayonne Medical Center, Christ Hospital, and Hoboken University Medical Center—and the medical practices of over 300 leading doctors in the Northern New Jersey Area.

We also have insurance and research divisions of our healthcare system. CarePoint Health Plans, headquartered in Jersey City, provides Medicare Advantage programs that serve residents of the Hudson County area, and Care Point Health Research Institute, with locations at each of our three hospitals, has partnered with major pharmaceutical corporations to conduct research to develop treatments for cancer.

The Psychiatric Clinician is responsible for assessing and counseling patient needs and the provision of individual, family and group counseling when indicated.

Essential Functions:

• Completes Bio-psychosocial assessments thoroughly and in a timely fashion.
• Suicide Assessments are complete with detail of protective and risk factors.
• Written documentation is signed, clear and well organized.
• Billing and notes correspond correctly.
• Treatment plans are completed by the 5th visit.
• Three (3) month summaries are completed every 3 months thereafter. 
• Productivity is maintained at 65% for direct service hours.
• Goals of therapy are measurable, behavioral and treatment is focused and goal  directed.
• Discharge is planned in an appropriate manner with future service needs addressed.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology
• NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker required
• With 1-2 years relavant experience, hospital setting preferred

Shift: 9:00am - 5:30pm with rotating weekends/holidays
