Registered Nurse Supervisor - Detox

  • Compensation: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00

Requirements: 

  • Active California RN license.
  • 3 years experience as a RN
  • 1 year supervisory experience
  • Experience in treating substance use disorders (SUD), preferably within residential treatment environments.
  • BLS Certification, First Aid Certified, CPR Certified, valid California driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Knowledge Required:

  • Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population.
  • Experience working successfully with issues of substance abuse, mental health, criminal background, and other potential barriers to economic self-sufficiency.
  • Ability to interpret and follow Procedure manuals.

Registered Nurse Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages and mentors nursing supervisors, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff. 
  • Leadership Responsibilities: Leads clinical aspects of the program, including health education and medication support. Involved in performance and quality improvement initiatives and drives systemic changes.
  • Organizational Responsibilities: Ensures accurate documentation and compliance with operational standards. 
  • Performance and Quality Improvement Responsibilities: Collaborates on policy development and participates in quality improvement activities, acting as a lead in change initiatives.
  • Training Responsibilities, Program Development and Project Management.
  • Nursing Responsibilities: Manages medication protocols, patient education, and care coordination. Ensures safe medication practices and compliance with medical directives.
