EOI - Hospitality and Airline Workers for Aged Care Opportunities
- Contract
Company Description
Care Employment Services is a boutique provider of high quality, accredited carers.
We're currently seeking expressions of interest for a range of clients in the Aged Care sector in the Perth metropolitan area. Aged Care providers are currently planning for a reduction in staff numbers due to illness and self quarantine and need additional temporary/casual resources to help support their residents and operations.
Job Description
Seeking expressions of interest for the following casual positions:
- Aged Care Worker
- Residential Support Worker
- Community Support Worker
We're looking to work with individuals who focus on providing a high level of customer and personal service to clients and residents. Your friendly, approachable nature, effective listening skills, and ability to clearly and effectively communicate with people from all walks of life will be a key component of your success.
This EOI is targeted towards those working in the hospitality and airline sector currently seeking interim or longer term opportunities. These roles will be temporary/casual front line, customer/resident facing roles. You will be interacting with aged care residents with varying levels of independence, assisting them with various tasks associated with day to day living. Think about all the things you do from when you wake up in the morning until you go to bed. You will be helping elderly people with these tasks, and yes that means helping them in the shower if required. So it does take a special individual to work in the sector. Opportunities exist in aged care properties or on the road travelling to individual homes.
Whilst qualifications in aged care are preferred they are not essential. Many of the skills and experience you have are transferable to the aged care sector. If you are contemplating a career change at this time our sister company Training Unlimited RTO 20891 specialises in Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing) and Cert IV in Aged Care with places available now.
Opportunities are for the Perth metropolitan area and we will do our best to identify opportunities in close proximity to where you live to make things a little easier for you.
