Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Fit and secure radio and other electronics, such as laptops, into a variety of makes and models of customer vehicles
• Read and interpret installation wiring diagrams furnished with equipment
• Locate and read vehicle manufacturer's wiring diagrams when needed
• Install different types of antennas (roof-mount, trunk mount, etc). on to vehicle
• Fit different types of connectors (crimp or solder-on) on to coaxial cable
• Test equipment for proper operation when completed and troubleshoot any issues
• Accurately document work, including filling out company-furnished forms with vehicle and radio information, i.e. serial number, model number, vehicle VIN etc.
• Keep track of assigned inventory items, such as hardware, wire, and connectors, and communicate replenishment needs
• Work professionally and productively unsupervised individually or as part of a team
• Think on your feet to come up with innovative solutions for complex or hard to fix problems
• Attention to detail on Project documentation and internal/customer paperwork

Qualifications
Requirements:
• Experience wiring radio and other electronics into vehicle's electric system, avoiding damage to vehicle safety systems, such as airbags
• Ability to follow instructions concerning customer desires and needs for mounting equipment
• Perform above responsibilities at shop or in the field at customer location
• Possess basic hand tools and know how to use them
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shift, 8+ hours
• Ability to reach, bend and stoop frequently
• Possess basic computer skills for radio programming as needed
• Must have a valid unrestricted driver's license and safe driving history as determined by the Company. Driving record will be checked.
