Job Description

Becoming a CPA Marketing & Comms lead within Capita Health and Welfare Employability

Location – HOME BASED

Salary - £55,000 - £60,000

Interviews will be held 12th April – 21st April 2021

We’re supporting our clients as they adapt to a new world in the wake of COVID-19. We’re now recruiting for roles which will help our clients to deliver vital services and to resume business wherever possible.

Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders including DWP, CPA partners and employers by:

Delivering a programme of comms using a range of appropriate channels. This may include sharing regular updates, insights or trends and spotlighting best practice.

Delivering marketing support across the end-to-end service: map out marketing requirements across the customer journey, for example collateral requirements for Jobcentre Plus and CPA partners.

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our employability business. You will be leading on the marketing & comms within a CPA (Contract Package Area) to support those people classed as ‘Long-term Unemployed’. You will be embedded within your CPA, ensuring that the communications and marketing plan is tailored, local and will resonate with job seekers, stakeholder groups, local employers.

What you’ll be doing:

You'll work closely with senior management and the CPA team to understand the business objectives, opportunities and challenges. Use these relationships to build consensus and support of your marketing & comms plans; 

Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders including DWP, CPA partners and employers by:

  • Delivering a programme of comms using a range of appropriate channels. This may include sharing regular updates, insights or trends and spotlighting best practice;
  • Delivering marketing support across the end-to-end service: map out marketing requirements across the customer journey, for example collateral requirements for Jobcentre Plus and CPA partners;
  • Work with your business stakeholders, supported by the Head of Marketing & Comms, to ensure timely approvals and implementation;
  • Ensure that all activity is compliant with brand and tone of voice;
  • Be the contact point for Capita’s press office to support on press queries.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven marketing & communications professional with experience of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to develop strategies that cross over multiple channels, including digital, online, social and offline;
  • Strong creativity and solid judgement to enable the delivery of complex messages in an easy to understand manner;
  • Really great copywriting skills;
  • Highly organised and able to create effective plans including managing complex timelines and deadlines;
  • Experience of reporting and communicating at a Senior Level;
  • Experience within the employability market would be advantageous (but not essential);
  • Ability to manage and organise external teams and suppliers to deliver as and when required;
  • Commercial focus and business acumen.
