Job Description

We are currently seeking a PMO Officer is to improve the planning and delivery process by collecting and maintaining data in a consistent form.

The PMO Officer will play a proactive role in knowledge management to promote programme and project management methods and standards and the implementation of best programme and project management practice.

The PMO Officer will provide support to the programmes and projects through:

·       Facilitating workshops
·       Support in creating & updating plans
·       Collation of weekly reports
·       Providing templates & creating governance documentation
·       Support in RAID management
·       Document management
·       Capturing minutes in programme and board meetings.

Qualifications

Essential Experience/Skills: 

  • Have at least 3 years relevant work experience as a PMO Officer/Analyst and can demonstrate a track record of working within a PMO
  • Have experience of contributing to the development, management and maintenance of project processes and documentation including:
    • Project plans
    • Progress reports
    • RAID logs
    • Stakeholder engagement
    • Planning
    • Document management
    • Communication activities
    • Resource plans
    • Costs and benefit reports/management
    • Change control
    • Experience of using Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
    • Strong customer facing skills. Must be comfortable and confident with clients at all levels
    • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
    • Strong organisational, time management and leadership skills
    • The ability to work co-operatively and supportively with others, able to lead and motivate teams working on projects

Desirable Experience/Skills/Qualifications: 
• P3O
• BCS PPSO
• Qualification in PRINCE2 to Foundation level
