Job Description

To manage and oversee the operational requirements for face to face (F2F) assessments in our Assessment Centres, in accordance with our operational strategy by ensuring that we have sufficient and appropriate assessment centre capacity, in the right location, to match the business needs. This will involve close cooperation with our MI and Performance Forecasting team to build and evolve our clinic strategy; Business Assurance and Commercial to check contract and specification compliance; whilst liaising with Group Property and Regional FM Management to ensure the business is acting in accordance Group Policy and with all contractual, regulatory and legal requirements.

As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for driving increased assessment centre utilisation across both Midlands & Wales and Northern Ireland.  You will also be responsible for the line management of all reception staff.

Key Responsibilies:

  • Develop an operational assessment centre strategy that links directly to and facilitates the delivery of the operational plan;

  • Manage all office and field assessment centres in accordance with the operations model;

  • Utilise the available data on the performance of each assessment centre and make recommendations to enhance the overall delivery and claimant experience, and to increase the proportion of F2F assessments seen in a clinic, rather than at the claimant’s home;

  • Liaison with Group Property and the Commercial Director to ensure legal, regulatory and commercial compliance;

  • Liaison with the Group Regional FM lead to ensure all FM issues are resolved in a timely manner;

  • Line manage all reception staff.

Qualifications

At least 2 years' experience in each of the following areas:

  • Operational management

  • Data driven management of a client/claimant focussed resource

  • Contract management

  • Profit & Loss (P&L) management

  • Client management

  • Line management experience of a varied, distributed team
