Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to leverage relationships to support account growth and delivery leadership.  As a Senior Program Manager/Account Executive, you will position CapTech for additional opportunities to serve clients by building deep relationships and ensuring exceptional delivery.  Your focus is on bridging the gap between operational and strategic views of account management in alignment with the retail portfolio strategy and account plan. This individual will help ensure strategic execution, delivery excellence, consultant satisfaction, and strong financial/operations management, resulting in total account health.

Specific responsibilities for the Senior Program Manager/ Account Lead include:

  • Accountable for developing and executing significant aspects of the account growth strategy, inclusive of playbook creation and management, creating a sales pipeline, and building a target relationship plan.
  • Leads and develops cross-functional teams to ensure impactful business outcomes and delivery excellence. Meet regularly with stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction, resolving critical client satisfaction issues. Promptly escalates risks that affect client relationships or trust.  
  • Establishes and nurtures collaborative partnerships with client stakeholders including Executives & Key Decision Makers.
  • Responsible for driving account growth strategy with a focus on operational processes
  • Coaches Account Management talent (Sr. AMs, AMs) and delivery consultants to actively develop relationships within their sphere of influence and provide guidance in how to identify potential business opportunities. 
  • Proactively identifies and drives new opportunities to serve client’s needs. Leads and/or executes proposal and SOW efforts and seeks opportunities to introduce new or additional CapTech service offerings & capabilities. 
  • Takes ownership for development of AM talent into Senior AMs through proactive mentoring, coaching, skills development, and aligning on expectations of the AM career path.
  • Seeks and develops relationships with client stakeholders by immersing themselves in client culture and community events.  
  • Oversees Account Management team activities to ensure appropriate Account Management Operational processes and practices are executed. 
  • Grows Retail industry acumen through research, published content, etc.

 

 

Qualifications

Specific qualifications for the Senior Program Manager/Account Lead position include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience  
  • PMP certification preferred 
  • 8 + years of proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build a sales pipeline and grow client revenue
  • 8 + years of experience in project or program management role, experience leading delivery across technology projects/programs is essential. 
  • Relevant retail industry experience is preferred including verticals such as CPG, food & beverage, hospitality, automotive and apparel 
  • Ideal candidate will have consulting industry experience supporting retail industry clients
  • Demonstrated track record of successful ability to manage large and complex consulting engagements 
  • Experience leading teams through complex technology solution sales cycle 
  • Experience building relationships with C-suite stakeholders 
  • Ability to assess client needs, identify omissions and gaps, and design optimal solution. 
  • Creative thinking and seeking innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems 
  • Advocates for digital accessibility and inclusive design in all projects and client interactions.
