Job Description

CapTech is seeking a senior leader with extensive industry vertical experience in Energy & Utilities to lead our Energy & Utilities Industry Vertical. In our consulting industry, we are consistently re-inventing the way we present ourselves in bringing competitive advantage to the clients we serve. Remaining a top IT consulting firm requires ongoing maturity and evolution of services in order to creatively present those services in new and innovative ways.

In this role, you will lead our Energy & Utilities Industry Working group across CapTech; sparking the imagination of our clients by presenting offerings that speak to the most impactful problems they face. You will show flexibility in responding to ever-changing markets and client pain points; spearheading market research activities necessary to ensure services have the right positioning. This role is inherently cross-functional – you will partner with top Technology and Management Consultants, Thought Leaders, Business Development leaders, the Marketing team, and the Executive Team to enable CapTech to spark the imagination of current and prospective clients.

Successful candidates will be strong, self-driven leaders who can foster a best-in-class client experience at scale, communicate clearly with data to support their ideas, prioritize effectively, and demonstrate a consistent track record of excellent judgement and results delivery. They will be naturally client centric – working backwards from client needs, and they will thrive in an environment that requires strong business acumen and exemplary communication skills. They will have a strong service and marketing management background in the professional services sector.

  • Meet with a broad set of buyers in target accounts to understand client needs and build CapTech recognition
  • Evaluate and implement partnership / technical solutions to drive new business opportunities (i.e. Smart grids and meters)
  • Lead the sales and proposal processes
  • Define CapTech’s industry-based service offerings by connecting our services to industry trends and needs
  • Define industry-based business plan in concert with Product Management business plans
  • Define industry-based roadmap to support business plan
  • Partner with Marketing team to create relevant industry-based content
