Job Description

CapTech is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, dynamic team player to lead corporate wide communications for CapTech.  The Corporate Communications Director will hold enterprise-wide responsibility for strategic and tactical leadership of company communications. The Director will also create and lead strategic communication plans that align with CapTech’s playbook, annual business plan, and long-term vision, including internal communications, corporate culture, corporate visibility, and community engagement.  This is an awesome opportunity to build corporate communication in a high-growth company. 

Specific responsibilities for the Corporate Communications Director include:

  • Collaborates with CapTech leadership to gather input necessary to create, manage, and execute a comprehensive communications strategy for an organization with offices across the country.
  • Provides strategic input on matters affecting company visibility and reputation as well as related tactical support as needed.
  • Plans, develops, and executes company-wide employee communications, programs and platforms. This includes building and maintaining an adequate communications calendar, drafting communications, and overseeing editorial content.
  • Interacts with CapTech leadership, marketing, legal, IT, and HR teams to understand communications objectives and deliver communications materials.
  • Assists in the development of internal written communications deliverables and programs, making recommendations to ensure that projects appropriately reflect CapTech’s interests.
  • Manage the storytelling direction and message positioning for the internal communications publications.
  • Work closely with head of Marketing to ensure unified brand and message throughout all internal and external communications.

Qualifications

Specific qualifications for the Corporate Communications Director include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of management experience in communications, marketing, or public relations preferably in the professional services industry.
  • Strong ability to formulate, create, and execute internal and external communication strategies and approaches. 
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to create effective written, verbal, and web content for internal and external audiences across multiple platforms, geographies, and media channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others; have a keen attention to detail and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel within CapTech.
  • Experience in planning, managing, executing, and measuring successful campaigns.
  • Drives results and quickly gains the confidence and trust of others through strong collaboration and ability to adapt to shifting demands.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and high operational tempo across multiple levels of the organization. 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work through and drive change.
  • Ability to analyze data of a confidential and/or sensitive nature.
