CapTech UX Architects are passionate about user experience, and are always ahead of the curve with new thinking and techniques. They are responsible for helping to create innovative customer experiences across a wide variety of channels and devices and they participate in all user experience activities on projects and Customer Experience initiatives.

 CapTech UX Architects have information architecture, content strategy, user experience/usability experience and also have experience working with standard IA and UCD tools and processes. They may not be a technologist but understand technologies at a high level and weave that understanding together with experience of content management systems and ecommerce. They typically have experience within a digital company and work well under pressure with a high degree of flexibility. They are self-motivated and enjoy working with multi-discipline teams.

• Ability to apply strong user experience and usability principles while looking for opportunities to innovate
• Ability to use advanced UCD techniques such as rapid prototyping and remote testing to improve efficacy of the quality of our solution
• Understanding of the relevant marketplace and consumer and technology factors and are able to contribute at a high-level to the strategic approach of our client
• Demonstrated ability to develop UX solutions for a wide variety of platforms and devices
• Familiarity with Axure
• 2+ years professional experience
• 4-year+ degree, BA or BS in design, information sciences, HCI, or psychology
• Flexibility with travel 2-3 days per week
• Upon submission please submit examples of UX work including wireframes, prototypes, test plans, test read outs/presentations, etc.
