CapTech is looking for Senior Data Analytics Consultants that are passionate about technology with a desire to solve our clients’ most complex business and technical problems. As a CapTech Data Analytics Consultant, you will enjoy working within a collaborative, team environment to help define and deliver innovative solutions to our clients.  

 Specific job responsibilities will vary by project role, but may include:

• Work with clients to understand their business, data, and systems
• Elicit and produce data requirements based on research and client interaction
• Design, develop, and produce statistical and other analytic reports
• Communicate with all levels of stakeholders as appropriate, including executives, data modelers, application developers, business users, and customers

Specific qualifications for the Data Analytics Consultant position include:

• Bachelors or higher level degree
• Minimum of 5 years experience in data analysis, business analysis, and business intelligence focused on enabling clients to make data-driven decisions
• Strong leadership skills with proven ability to support and mentor junior resources on the team
  
• Strong knowledge of SQL and other querying languages (Hive, Pig etc.)
• Experience with the following technologies: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft SQL, Service Integration Services, Power BI
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, R, SAS, etc.) preferred
• Demonstrated experience with data models, database design development, data profiling, and analysis tools, especially in a big data format
• Experience with the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or Agile, specifically requirements definition and testing
• Strong skills in one of the following languages and technologies: J2EE, .NET, Python, Perl, R
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL server, Teradata etc.) and NoSQL databases (HBase, MongoDB, Apache Cassandra etc.)
• Bachelors or higher level degree
• Minimum of 5 years experience in data analysis, business analysis, and business intelligence focused on enabling clients to make data-driven decisions
• Strong leadership skills with proven ability to support and mentor junior resources on the team
