Where and how you can work

Our flagship campus is in Sydney, Australia but we’re growing our regional team in India as a part of our Truly Local approach. While we don’t yet have an office in India, our team is welcome to work remotely!

What you’d be doing in this role:

  • Own the school system lifecycle. You'll own strategy, prospecting, planning, onboarding, execution, and results within identified school systems.

You'll be responsible for managing the relationships with the key stakeholders and decision-makers at districts and getting them what they need, be it technical documentation and support, onboarding help, teacher development resources, Canva tips and tricks, and strategic guidance
  • Serve as an ambassador of Canva for Education with teachers and educators at managed districts.
  • Provide Value to Customers and to Canva. You'll run a healthy and predictable business that delivers a jointly agreed customer transformation strategy focused on educational outcomes within districts.
  • Understand the Canva user lifecycle. You'll establish close relationships with our passionate community of educators and learners to know first-hand what they need to become successful Canva users.
  • Identify trends and usage patterns. You'll utilize data analysis to shape your strategic approach to sales and account management, and to note emerging trends to share with Canva’s Sales & Success, Product, and Marketing teams.
  • Drive retention and engagement. You'll continuously test, learn, and iterate on our lifecycle strategy at our identified districts to build meaningful and impactful relationships.
  • Seek out new customers: You'll identify high-value districts that have not yet signed with Canva, source strategic leads, and close deals to bring Canva to those districts.

You're probably a match if:

  • You have experience with the India education market. You understand classroom efficiency solutions and are able to communicate with Instructional Technology Specialists and teachers on how Canva can improve student learning outcomes through design and collaboration.
  • You have customer success expertise. You are comfortable driving retention and fostering engagement with software solutions at a district level.
  • You have excellent collaboration skills. You enjoy working alongside your direct team as well as with cross-functional teams.
  • You have experience with implementing new technologies. You have a deep understanding of how schools roll out new technologies and how district-wide deployments are most effective.
  • You have effective communication skills. You create clarity through your communication by making complex things simple. You can confidently present your ideas and tell a compelling story to customers and the broader team.
  • You have strong business planning skills. You have the ability to move from planning all the way through to implementation and complete projects that deliver high impact.
  • You have experience in community management. You understand social media standard processes and tactics for educating audiences.
  • You have a growth mindset. You're eager to learn and develop your skills whilst having fun along the way!
