Alongside our global campuses, we also collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals. While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we’re focusing on Bangkok, Thailand so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing. 

This role is a 6-month engagement, working 40 hours per week.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

In this role, you’ll focus on Social Media and performance creative production, delivering ad assets, UGC edits for our TH market.

You’ll work on both always-on creative sprints across paid channels such as Meta, TikTok, and Google Display, and campaign deliverables across owned channels such as lifecycle emails and app store assets. You’ll collaborate with Creative Lead Thailand on creative concepts and ad visuals, ensuring outputs are both on-brand and optimized for performance.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Design and adapt static, video, and motion ads across Meta, TikTok, Google, and Display.

  • Edit and optimize UGC videos for ad sprints.

  • Collaborate with Creative Lead TH to translate strategy and insights into effective creatives.

  • Contribute to conceptualization for growth marketing campaigns and lifecycle assets.

  • Ensure all outputs are optimized for channel specs, on-brand, and localized for TH market.

  • Share creative learnings and insights to strengthen future testing and production.

We’re looking for someone who can balance creativity with execution, delivering high-quality assets while continuously testing and learning what works.

  • Strong design portfolio showcasing digital ads, motion graphics, or UGC video edits.

  • Proficiency in design tools including Canva

  • Experience creating content for Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, or other performance channels.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment.

  • Be able to act as talent in front of a camera for social media content.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to adapt creative concepts across multiple formats and sizes.

  • A collaborative partner who can work closely with Creative Lead TH and other stakeholders.

  • Understanding of local Thai cultural trends and how to translate them into design.

As part of the International Marketing Group, our SEA Marketing team drives Canva's growth by blending global strategies with hyperlocal insights. We aim to create meaningful connections with users in Thailand through local campaigns, localized moments, and evergreen creative initiatives across performance marketing, brand, events, partnerships, social, community engagement, and other growth channels.

The designer will work directly with the SEA Growth Marketing team, supporting the creation of engaging, locally resonant creative content that amplifies our presence in Thailand.
