EDU Content Project Manager, Indonesia (6 Month Contract)
- Full-time
Job Description
Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Kamusta, hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, สวัสดี!
Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.
Where and how you can work
Alongside our global campuses, we also collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals. While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we’re focusing on Jakarta, Indonesia, so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.
This role is a 6-month engagement, working 40 hours per week.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
As Education Content Program Manager, you will own the planning, coordination, and day-to-day execution of curriculum-aligned education content production for Indonesia. You'll work closely with the Education Lead Indonesia, collaborate with global education and content teams based in the US and AU, and coordinate with local educators, reviewers, and external contributors to ensure our content is classroom-ready, curriculum-accurate, and delivered at pace.
Your work will directly shape the availability of high-quality, locally relevant content on Canva — helping teachers and students across Indonesia find resources that are immediately usable in real classrooms.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
Own the end-to-end execution of curriculum-aligned education content production for Indonesia — from planning and contributor coordination through to quality review and publishing — ensuring timely delivery without becoming a bottleneck.
Translate education content priorities into clear production plans, managing pipelines, tracking timelines, and surfacing risks early to keep work progressing.
Coordinate with local educators, reviewers, and external contributors or vendors, maintaining clear communication and accountability across all production streams.
Progress education content acquisition initiatives, partnering with trusted local education sources to ingest, localise, and adapt curriculum-aligned content for Indonesian classrooms.
Track delivery and curriculum coverage through regular audits and production planning, providing clear progress updates to the Education Lead and cross-functional stakeholders.
You're probably a match if
You have 3–5 years of experience in content production, education programs, or project management, with direct responsibility for coordinating delivery and managing timelines across multiple content streams.
You have a strong understanding of the Indonesian K–12 curriculum and classroom realities — you can assess whether content is accurate, relevant, and genuinely usable for teachers and students, not just surface-level compliant.
You have proven experience managing end-to-end content production — you can move from planning to coordination to delivery confidently, keeping quality high and timelines on track.
You're experienced working with internal teams, local educators, reviewers, and external contributors or vendors, with a track record of maintaining clear communication and accountability across diverse stakeholders.
You're highly organised and execution-focused — you bring structure to complex workflows, proactively manage dependencies, and make practical day-to-day decisions to keep work moving without constant direction.
You operate well with ambiguity and take ownership — you're comfortable making calls, following through on commitments, and holding yourself accountable to outcomes.
You have sharp attention to detail and sound judgment around content quality, especially in an education context where accuracy and curriculum alignment matter.
You communicate clearly and reliably — stakeholders always know where things stand, and you follow through on what you commit to.
