Job Description
Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Hey, g’day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!
Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you’re probably keen to find out what’s on offer, so we’ll get straight to the point.
Where and how you can work
Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work — we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that’s all part of the fun. This will give you a flavour of what you’ll be working on when you start — but it will likely evolve.
Print is one of Canva’s most exciting growth bets — connecting digital design to physical products like business cards, posters, flyers, invitations, apparel and more. SEO plays a critical role in helping high-intent users discover, compare and convert on these products.
As our Print SEO Lead, you’ll shape how users discover and engage with Canva’s physical product offerings across English-speaking markets, embedding SEO deeply into Print’s product and growth strategy.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Owning and executing Canva’s Print SEO roadmap across product pages, category hubs, campaign pages and supporting content surfaces
- Driving high-intent organic growth across transactional and commercial search journeys
- Partnering with Print Product, Engineering, Growth, Design, Analytics and Content to embed SEO into product architecture and roadmap decisions
- Collaborating with the i18n SEO Lead to build scalable global frameworks as Print expands internationally
- Scaling systems and workflows across technical SEO, experimentation, automation and AI
- Measuring impact across sessions, CVR, revenue contribution and MAU growth — and communicating performance to leadership
You’re probably a match if
- You bring 5+ years of SEO experience (in-house or agency), ideally within product-led, e-commerce, DTC or marketplace environments
- You’ve led strategic SEO initiatives across high-intent, conversion-led search surfaces
- You deeply understand technical SEO, structured data, scalable landing page frameworks and commercial optimisation
- You’ve successfully influenced product roadmaps and partnered cross-functionally to embed SEO into core initiatives
- You’re analytical and outcome-driven, comfortable tying SEO work to business metrics like revenue and user growth
- You have a strong bias toward action and take initiatives from concept to delivery
- You’re curious about automation and AI and how they can scale impact
About the team
You’ll sit within Canva’s Growth organisation, working closely with Print and SEO leadership. The team is focused on scaling Total Sessions and sustainable organic MAU growth across logged-out surfaces — ensuring users experience Canva’s biggest bets at the right time, in the right way.
Over the next two years, we’re significantly scaling organic discovery for Print, and this role will play a pivotal part in helping Canva become a category leader across high-intent search journeys.
