The buzzing Canva London campus features several buildings around beautiful leafy Hoxton Square in Shoreditch. While our global headquarters is in Sydney, Australia, London is our HQ for Europe, with all kinds of teams based here, plus event spaces to gather our team and communities. What you’ll be doing in this role
At Canva, our Public Sector team is dedicated to supporting any team or organization that has a need to design at scale. We have seen success across different types of companies, including those in the Education Institutions, Governments, Not-for Profits and others.
Our Account Executives work closely with our customers to understand their specific goals and objectives and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs. Whether it's creating beautiful infographics to help communicate externally with your customers or better understand complex concepts or developing engaging social media content, our team has the expertise to help our customers succeed.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
Owning the Full Sales Cycle: Identifying, targeting, and securing net new nonprofit customers by understanding their unique challenges and positioning Canva as the solution of choice.
Driving Growth Within Existing Accounts: Partner with existing nonprofit customers to uncover opportunities for deeper adoption, cross-functional implementation, and user expansion.
Building and Executing Strategic Plans: Develop and implement tailored strategies to achieve sales goals, drive logo acquisition, and maximise the value Canva delivers to nonprofits.
Creating Lasting Relationships: Engage with nonprofit leaders and decision-makers to establish trust and demonstrate Canva’s value as a long-term partner in their mission.
Understanding and Communicating Customer Needs: Conduct discovery sessions and deliver compelling value propositions tailored to nonprofit organisations, showcasing Canva’s ability to meet their goals.
Leveraging Data to Drive Success: Analyse account usage and engagement trends to identify growth opportunities and inform strategies for upsell and expansion.
Collaborating for Impact: Work closely with internal teams, including Customer Success, Product, and Marketing, to ensure seamless onboarding, support, and growth for your accounts.
You're probably a match if:
You’re Sales-Driven with proven experience driving net new business and growing existing accounts, ideally within SaaS, technology, or nonprofit-focused industries.
You have an understanding of the Nonprofit Sector, with knowledge of nonprofit challenges, goals, and decision-making processes, with the ability to align Canva’s solutions to their needs.
You have consultative Sales Expertise, with strong discovery skills to uncover customer pain points and craft tailored solutions, presenting clear ROI and value.
You’re an excellent Communicatior, with the ability to convey complex ideas simply and effectively, tailoring messaging to diverse audiences, from end-users to C-suite leaders.
You’re a collaborator, and skilled at working in cross-functional environments and leveraging internal resources to support your sales strategy.
You bring strategic thinking to your work, you’re proficient in account planning and execution, with a focus on achieving long-term customer success and retention.
You’re Data-Literate, and comfortable using data to identify trends, measure success, and refine your approach for maximum impact.
You’re motivated and adaptable, a self-starter with a growth mindset, eager to learn and tackle challenges while maintaining a focus on delivering results.
About the team
Our Sales and Success team support Canva Enterprise, with the mission to empower every organisation to design. Canva Enterprise lets organisations consolidate design, content production, and collaboration tools under one secure and centralised account. From whiteboards to docs, to presentations and our AI platform magic Studio, our Sales team work with all departments empowering them to create and collaborate at scale.
