Alongside our global campuses, we also collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals. While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we’re focusing on Sydney so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.
This role is a 4 month engagement, working full-time hours per week.
Targeted start date for this role is the start of 16th February
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
As a Program Manager in the Brand ID Squad, you’ll be the connective tissue that keeps complex brand identity initiatives moving smoothly from concept to rollout. You’ll bring structure to ambiguity, translate creative vision into actionable plans, and keep teams aligned through clear timelines, priorities, and communication. Your work will help accelerate the delivery of high‑impact brand systems while enabling designers and partners to do their best work.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Manage key projects from brief to creative delivery including Branding toolkits & roll outs
- Support the Creative Director + Brand Ops Lead, by intaking weekly project requests and ongoing management of the projects
- Be proactive in finding opportunities to improve and build on processes and systems to help mobilise a fast growing, global team
- Partner with the appropriate external partner or agency to ensure the highest level of creative quality / production and delivery
- Works with Marketing & Creative Leads to prioritise projects and determine appropriate resourcing solutions
- Be the central project manager for cross group projects that spread across many creative squads ensuring all roll out briefs are aligned with the ID set at the beginning of a project
You're probably a match if
- You have 3-4 years professional experience in Creative/ Branding Agency or Marketing organisation
- You have experience project managing a variety of types of projects, developing timelines, resourcing teams, setting and tracking priorities, motivating team members.
- Some key projects you’ll be working on include:
- branding and brand identity development (IDs and toolkits etc)
- Swag projects
- Event & Show assets
- Broader marketing campaigns
- Some key projects you’ll be working on include:
- You're comfortable using modern Project Management and Creative Resourcing Tools such as Monday, Slack, Zoom
- You're a cross-functional manager with experience working in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, environment
- You have incredible organisational and people skills, with the ability to set priorities, problem-solve, multi-task and work in a rapidly changing environment
- You're self-driven, organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
As our Creative Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing workflow and briefs through our Brand Studio team.

We’re the Brand ID Squad within Canva’s Creative team, responsible for shaping, evolving, and scaling Canva’s brand identity systems across the company. We work at the intersection of strategy, design, and delivery—creating clear, usable brand frameworks that empower teams to move faster while staying unmistakably Canva. Together, we partner closely with Brand, Marketing, Product, and Creative teams to bring cohesion, craft, and clarity to how Canva shows up in the world.
