Alongside our global campuses, we also collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals. While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we’re focusing on Sydney so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.

This role is a 4 month engagement, working full-time hours per week.

Targeted start date for this role is the start of January 2026.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

We are looking for a Creative Program Manager who can manage brand requests and project briefs through the creative and production workflows, manage timelines to move tasks through to completion, set expectations with internal clients, and be the ‘glue’ that connects our creative, brand, production and client stakeholders across the course of the project. You’re a stickler for process, incredibly organised and a great communicator with a bias for effective and efficient problem solving. 

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Managing key projects from brief to creative delivery
  • Branding & toolkit projects from brief through production and creative delivery 
  • Key experiential brand development projects from brief through delivery 
  • Be a highly tactical operator, detail oriented with a passion for project management, creative development and client liaison
  • Being proactive in finding opportunities to improve and build on processes and systems to help mobilise a fast growing, global team
  • Supporting the Brand Studio Lead Project Manager, by intaking weekly project requests and ongoing management of the projects
  • Partner ingwith the appropriate external partner or agency to ensure the highest level of creative quality / production and delivery 
  • Working with Operations Lead, Marketing & Creative Leads to prioritise projects and determine appropriate resourcing solutions
  • Assisting with regular cross functional communications and relationship building with key cross functional partners

You're probably a match if

  • You have proven professional experience in Creative/ Branding Agency or Marketing organisations
  • You have experience project managing a variety of types of projects, developing timelines, resourcing teams, setting and tracking priorities, motivating team members.
  • Some key projects you’ll be working on include:
  • You have branding and brand identity development (IDs and toolkits etc)
  • You have experience in experiential projects, In-product projects and broader marketing campaigns.
  • you’re comfortable using modern Project Management and  Creative Resourcing Tools such as Monday, Jira, Asana/Trello & Slack
  • You’re a cross-functional manager with experience working in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, environment
  • You have incredible organisation and people skills, with the ability to set priorities, problem-solve, multi-task and work in a rapidly changing environment
  • You’re self-driven, organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask

As our Creative Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing workflow and briefs through our Brand Studio team.

About the team

You will be part of the Canva Creative Team and work in conjunction with many other teams at Canva (Marketing, Product, Experiential etc.). You will help raise awareness of the team’s work and engagement model and foster collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders.
