While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we’re focusing on Milan so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.

This role is a 6 month engagement, working full-time hours.

About the role
As a Brand Strategist, you’ll shape how Canva shows up across the Italian market, working closely with the campaigns team and Regional Creative Director to bring the Canva brand to life. You will work specifically within Brand Marketing in Italy to launch our first ever brand campaign in the market, trialling a completely new approach diverting spend from performance to attract new audiences.

What you'll do 

  • Be the voice on the ground to support launch of first ever Italian brand campaign, replacing historical Performance Marketing approach

  • Strive to achieve Fame with advertising and win local hearts and minds through innovative story telling

  • Leverage category entry points data to help determine focus areas for creative

  • Partner closely with local creative agency to ensure campaigns are rooted in local insight and connected to the global Canva brand

  • Support with campaign optimisations, leveraging research and testing during the development and throughout the campaign

  • Working with closely with Integrated Marketing team, internal Creative team and our global media agency to deliver 360 local campaign

We aim to create meaningful connections with users in Europe regional campaigns, localized moments, and evergreen creative initiatives across a variety of functions - performance marketing, brand, events, partnerships, social, community engagement and other growth channels.
