Canam Steel Corporation is a major US manufacturer of open web steel joists and steel deck.  The company participates in thousands of projects each year ranging from large distribution centers and high rise projects, to small retail centers.  The steel joist business in the US dates back to 1986 as a partnership with Canam Group and our steel deck business was launched by an acquisition of the United Steel Deck brand in 2010.  The Corporation currently operates six fabrication facilities, several sales and engineering offices, and employs approximately 800 people across the United States.

This is a part-time position, working approxiamelty 20 hours a week.

On a daily basis performs the following:

*Sweeps, mops, scrubs and vacuums hallways, common area, stairs and office space.

*Empties all trash and garbage containers into dumpsters - separating trash and recycling.

*Cleans and disinfects all bathrooms throughout the office building.

*Cleans and sanitizes tables & counter areas in kitchens and meeting rooms.

*Stocks and replaces paper and soap supplies.

*Dusts all furnishings, moldings and trim work, cabinets and countertops.

*Performs other job related duties as assigned.

*Maintains a positive work atmosphere

*Works in a safe and conscientious manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work flexible, non-standard hours
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently without close supervision to make sound decisions based on policy/company practices
