Job Description

Under the direction of VP, Stores & Wholesale, the Manager, Store Operations will provide U.S. stores with ongoing executional support for all operational controls that enhance the customer experience, maximize efficiencies and drive profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Regional Leadership in ensuring executional excellence of all operational standards and practices
  • Create and share store sales / KPIs reporting for Home Office Retail Leadership team
  • Analyze product performance and inventory on an ongoing basis to support the planning and retail teams
  • Track regional retail specific incentive results monthly
  • Review store payroll, scheduling and other time keeping submissions, ensuring accuracy, and offering suggestions on cost minimizing solutions
  • Coordinate in store operational tasks such as shipments and RTVs in collaboration with Commercial Retail Operations team
  • Oversee cycle counts conducted by store teams
  • Utilize interactive employee communication platform to collaborate on regional specific content
  • Manage and code all pertinent regional retail invoices and purchase orders
  • Support regional inventories and cycle counts
  • Coordinate with support leaders and retail operations to help facilitate workback schedules on all new store openings/remodels
  • Facilitate relationship and coordination with property management pre-opening and during store stock out
  • Supervise regional store supply and packaging program to ensure all stores are at adequate levels
  • Support stores in the execution of all retail Canada Goose rules and best practices
  • Collaborate with Commercial Retail Operations team to assist in facilitation/launch of all new operational initiatives.

Experience, Education and Designations:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in one or a combination of the following industries: apparel or retail industry, top-tier consulting firm or investment bank
  • Proven ability to analyze, evaluate and make recommendations on strategic questions
  • Undergraduate degree with high achievement, in a discipline that teaches quantitative and qualitative analysis and critical thinking (e.g., business, marketing, engineering, law)
  • Experience in fast paced store environment working with large teams is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer competence in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Must be fluent in English

  • Strong understanding of retail and apparel industry, up-to-date on industry events and hold perspective on major issues
  • Ability to analyze financial reports

Working Conditions:

  • Typical office environment – combination of desk work + active meeting facilitation
  • Travel required (15%)
