Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the talent acquisition team on recruitment related items such as: screening applicants, coordinating interviews, creating and managing job requisitions in Workday, coordinating interviews, supporting with the creation of employment agreements and gathering executive signatures using Adobe sign; coordinating and monitoring background checks and references for candidates
  • Organize and manage purchase orders and invoices
  • Assist with processing enrolment and termination of employees in company programs including but not limited to health benefits, retirement savings program, commuter benefits, travel website
  • Assist with preparing reports and dashboards
  • Assist with employee communications



Experience, Education and Designations:

  • A post-secondary education in Human Resources, preferred
  • Experience in an administrative role is considered an asset
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development within the HR profession 

 Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Technologically adept and ability to work with multiple Microsoft applications
  • Intermediate Excel abilities
  • Academic and/or working knowledge of human resources programs and polices
  • Exceptional attention to detail and committed to a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment with a high degree of change and ambiguity; able to work efficiently under pressure and prioritize
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Keen sense of time management and flexibility
  • Excellent grammar, business letter and report writing skills
  • Ability to think proactively, critically, and independently to make good decisions
  • A clear and succinct communicator (verbal and written)
  • Understand and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Embrace continuous improvement by proposing new and/or better ways of doing things
