Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting and maintaining Campfire's entire internal IT infrastructure in coordination with other existing IT team members
  • This includes but not limited to OS, Hardware, Networking, and Software used by internal employees
  • Internal IT customer support when needed
  • Willing to support emergencies internally to Campfire and its customers
  • Design and deploy solutions such as servers, software, and hardware to meet the needs of a growing business
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and problems as they arise
  • Interface directly with Campfire employees addressing technical issues
  • Work within a team to enhance the infrastructure and its performance
  • Willing and able to be on-site when necessary

Primary Technical Skills

  • In depth experience and knowledge with Microsoft Server 2016/2019/2022
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
  • Experience with O365, Azure, Exchange Online
  • Network maintenance (onsite office, AWS, etc.,)
  • IT infrastructure (on site, AWS etc.,)
  • Provide support on product line also (database download, restore, pulling logs, builds, etc.,)
  • Knowledge in Backup infrastructure, Veeam or other
  • Automation such as SCCM, patch deployment and maintenance
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Hyper-V, virtualization
  • Microsoft Remote Desktop services
  • Monitoring software exposure; SolarWinds, ManageEngine, etc.
  • Amazon Web Services experience
  • PowerShell and scripting experience a plus
  • Some Networking experience with Cisco, FortiGate type appliances a plus
  • Basic Microsoft SQL experience a plus
  • Ability to trouble shoot problems (OS, application, network environment)

Supporting Technical Skills

  • Willing to learn and support Campfire product related work on the following
  • Build and install Campfire app using Jenkins, Ant Scripts, PowerShell, dbdeploy etc.,
  • Installing/maintaining Java, Apache, Tomcat, MS-SQL, Open source software and tools on Windows OS
  • Support development environment (SVN, Jira, Confluence, Git, Redis, RabitMQ)
  • Administering databases on Microsoft SQL Server (database creation, backup, restore, scheduling SQL jobs, etc.,)
  • Familiarity with SQL scripts and basic troubleshooting
  • Knowledge and experience in deploying web applications
  • Knowledge and understanding of protocols and communications (e.g. HTTP/S, FTP/S, SMTP, RDP, SSO, MQ etc.)
  • Understanding of development, Testing, Staging, production environments
  • Deploy software solutions on internal and customer production servers
  • Familiarity with Dockers, Kubernetes

Education and Professional Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience as a System Administrator (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • MCSA, MCP, CCNA, AWS, Azure certification is a plus
  • Willing to take Microsoft/AWS training and certifications
