Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities

As Implementation Lead (CPQ) you will serve as a technical and business lead for Campfire’s CPQ (cost/price/quote) software modules.  You will be responsible in the design, development, and enhancement of the configuration of Campfire CPQ module.  This role will support customer implementations and customer success. Your role and expertise also will involve you in strategic initiatives around product development and partnerships. This includes the following:

  • Implementation and training of Campfire product
  • Development and management of project plans
  • Develop and lead solution-specific kick-off meetings and work streams
  • Facilitate discovery meetings to understand client business process, technology, integrations and business objectives
  • Lead cross functional teams including both internal and external resources; provide strategic and consultative direction throughout the lifecycle of the implementation
  • Work with the Operations Team to come up with new ideas to enhance the product

Technical Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and absorb customer costing, pricing, quoting models across automotive suppliers
  • Assist with the planning and designing of project timelines based on client specifics and availability of internal resources
  • Communicate project status and milestones to the client in a consistent and effective manner
  • Ability to design and execute use case story boards
  • Gather and document customer requirements and help the technical team write technical specifications
  • Support customers through meetings, phone and e-mail
  • Lead teams to complete deliverables on time within budget 

Work Experience

  • 10+ years of related experience in a Financial Forecasting/Analysis, quoting, cost engineering, or cost estimating
  • Experience with automotive or general manufacturing processes and best practices
  • Experience in configuring or using project management software (preferred)
  • Experience with MS Project, MS Visio, MS PPT and MS Excel required

Educational Experience

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, Engineering and/or related discipline
