Camp Curiosity & Curiosity Academy is located on a 50+ acre farm in Doylestown, PA.

As we look to the 2021 Camp and beyond, we are looking for individuals who are looking to grow with us. Starting as Part-Time Employment to convert to Full-Time Employment (Possible Year Round)

• Organize and Assist with Programming
• Organize and Assist with Summer Employment Process
• Organize and Assist with Special Events
• Work with Other Directors to create summer camp programming as well as year-round events/programming on our campus. 
• Maintain certification in First Aid/CPR as a minimum

Qualities

• Energetic, flexible, and passionate about providing a safe, unique, and memorable camp experience. 
• Leadership Experience as well as experience with Children. 

• Undergraduate Degree in recreation, education, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience working with children
• Strong camping and programming background
• Experience successfully leading large teams and supervising staff and campers
• Ability to effectively communicate - verbally and in writing- with children, parents, co-workers, and staff.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and creatively solve problems.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to obtain Background Clearances, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearances, and Mandated Reporter Training. (will change with regulations)

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time to move throughout the Curiosity campus to perform normal duties.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to ascend and descend stairs
