CALMRA, Inc. is a community based residential service provider. We provide homes and services to adults with cognitive disabilities in Prince George's and Montgomery Counties.

Essential Job Functions

A. Program Planning

• Implement plans as written.

• Complete data on time, accurately.

• Implement behavior management programs.

• Complete incident reports on time, accurately.

B. Household Management

• Maintain cleanliness, attractiveness, of home and equipment.

• Report any repair needs to full time staff.

• Assist with cleanliness of the house.

• Ensure that all residents maintain clean clothes.

C. Maintain Health and Safety Standards

• Arrange for any emergency medical needs.

• Accurately administer and document medication administration.

• Encourage, instruct good hygiene and personal practices.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

D. Health Monitoring

• Observe residents to ensure their safety while sleeping.

• Reposition residents if necessary.

• Lift and position residents safely, as needed.

• Maintain cleanliness of bed linens; if incidents occur during the night.

• Maintain proper data as necessary.

E. Other Assigned Duties

AON, who do not work their shifts without prior approvals & for a period of time, will be terminated from their position immediately. 

Awake Overnight Counselor MUST REMAIN AWAKE FOR ENTIRE SHIFT

Supervised By: Community Living Supervisor

Qualifications: High school degree. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Friendly, positive attitude, driver’s license and good driving record, and car/ability to drive car/van.

Pay Rate is 9.56 per hour 25 HRS PER WEEK PLUS BENEFITS
