Job Description
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting all warehouse operations related to custom closet systems, including material preparation, inventory management, product assembly, staging, loading, and shipping activities. This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials and finished products are accurately processed, organized, and prepared for installation teams while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse environment.

- The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 5am-2pm with flexibility needed.
- The pay rate for this position is $20-$21/hr
- For some locations, a valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately cut pole and rail materials using a chop saw for custom closet solutions according to production specifications.
- Must have previous experience safely operating a chop saw.
- Unpack, organize, and inspect pallets received from the manufacturing center, ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately.
- Build drawer boxes and other closet components as required.
- Receive, sort, organize, and put away inventory.
- Load products and materials into delivery trucks.
- Stage products for installation and delivery.
- Perform inventory control activities, including quarterly inventory counts of all materials and products.
- Operate a forklift to move, store, and organize inventory. Forklift certification is preferred; however, training and certification will be provided to qualified candidates.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment through regular sweeping, cleaning, and housekeeping duties.
- Assist team members with warehouse and production tasks as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and write effectively.
- Dependable attendance
- Ability to safely lift and carry 50+ pounds on a regular basis. For heavier items, team-lifting procedures will be used and two employees will be assigned when required.
- Experience operating a chop saw is required.
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to assist others when needed.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and workplace policies
