Duties and Responsibilities:
- Based on business needs, be responsible for developing tools and reports that assist in making business decisions.
- Develop KPI (Key Performance Indicators) data sets that can be used for monthly reporting.
- Monitor inventory levels very closely and resolve any issues that may become apparent and notify management of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability.
- Write inventory reports detailing inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data.
- Analyze business and inventory statistics, to include performing financial analytics to determine and optimize product usage/product purchasing.
- Partner with the company’s accounts payables department to resolve discrepancies between the amount of inventory and vendor invoices quickly and accurately.
- Develop and implement systems and reports for accurately managing inventory, purchasing and other areas (as needed).
- Report to upper management (Operations, Finance, Purchasing) regularly and provides recommendations for better inventory control.
- Collect, clean, analyze, interpret, and report multi-platform data pertaining to dataset issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; preferably Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance or Business.
- Proficient with ERP/MRP business systems, Epicor preferred, in a manufacturing environment with super user responsibilities.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management.
- Advanced Excel and SharePoint skills
- Epicor BAQ Single table data lookup (with-in 90 days of employment).
- Knowledge of Epicor Inventory, Receiving, Shipping, PO, SO, Jobs and Quote forms. Able to identify form field table origin/location (with-in 90 days of employment).
- Basic knowledge of relational databases (ERP).
