Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities of our Operations Support Specialist:

  • Analysis and Forecasting of Bill of Materials/ usage
  • Tracking usage of stock items and up-keeping inventory
  • Purchasing of materials needed for both special orders and stock items
  • Tracking orders and assuring goods arrive on time – prior to install date
  • Quality inspection of all special orders received – reorder when necessary
  • Counting inventory – monthly (stock) and quarterly (special orders)
  • Scheduling maintenance appointments – equipment and vehicles
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor
  • Lead special projects
  • Project management

 

     

      Job Description

      The main responsibility of the Operations Support Specialist is to lead and support our supply chain. That is, you will analyze excel spreadsheets for materials needed, place orders with our suppliers, receive and unpack orders while checking for quality, follow up if anything needs to be re-ordered. That is. you will make sure all goods needed in our wood shop will be here on time and in the quality that our customers expect. Our Operations Support Specialist will touch many aspects and many people in our business.

      You will be a critical member of our team.

      Qualifications

      Requirements of our Operations Support specialist:

      The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and orientation to continuous improvement. They are a goal-oriented, problem solver and have an analytical mindset.

      • Able-bodied: able to work on your feet for up to 4 hours/day, lifting, and moving around heavy material.
      • Friendly, organized and energetic.
      • Strong project management and time management skills.
      • Customer-oriented personality that can communicate and work easily with customers and team members.
      • Punctual and reliable.
      • Available full-time Monday-Friday or part time Tuesday - Friday.
      • Able to communicate verbally in both official languages.
      • Excel proficient.
