Job Description

Are you a seasoned Project Manager with experience in restoration construction? Maybe you're seeking the opportunity to be a key player in a management role within a dynamic team. Look no further than Operations Manager at C&Z Construction!

C&Z Construction's Project Managers are the lifeline of our business and the Operations Manager position leads a team of 4-5 PMs, while performing some PM work as well. The Project Managers handle the lifespan of our jobs - from residential to small commercial restoration projects. They begin by meeting with the customer to determine and discuss the entire scope of work for the project. The PM maintains constant communication with the customers and insurance adjusters. PMs must be computer proficient and have high level problem solving skills. Experience with Xactimate preferred. Job duties also include but aren't limited to scheduling contractors, budgeting, quality assurance, and maintaining thorough documentation. The PM is also responsible for maintaining and supervising the daily tasks of an in-house carpentry crew.

The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Project Managers are accountable for their budgets, project timelines, customer satisfaction, paperwork and ability to handle their projects without being overly reliant on senior staff. This position includes coaching Project Managers and providing assistance during especially difficult or unusual scenarios.

Salary commensurate with experience, with up to a 10% incentive bonus.

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of field construction experience and 5 or more years of project management experience preferred.  Residential construction experience is required and experience in commercial construction is preferred.  Experience with large remodeling projects ($150,000-$300,000) is required.
