Job Description

The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the Business Development function. The individual must be a highly motivated self-starter who is able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, and individual research. The prime objective would be to deliver measurable quantifiable results. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential.

Lead Management: Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel. Take initiative and be creative in determining different methods and develop a working plan of action. Assess and analyse a prospects current process and requirements. Manage and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities.

Sales Management: Understand the company's sales cycle and assist the team in efficiently managing the sales pipeline.

Communication: Demonstrate the ability to interact professionally with potential customers via all channels to discover their business needs and develop a positive business relationship. Provide accurate and timely information as required, internally and externally. Be proficient in the use of lead generation and social media tools. Adhere to company policies, procedures, culture and business ethics.

Product Knowledge: Develop a strong knowledge of the company’s offering in order to facilitate the lead generation & sales process;  Understand how customer’s needs in various business verticals can be met. 

Qualifications

Experience in B2B sales, preferably in the IT sector, of at least 2 years. 

Excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop a good understanding of customer dynamics and requirements.

Have a track record of increasing sales revenue.
