Job Description
(New York) Client is a fast growing, well-known strategic player in the audit, tax and advisory space with over 100 partners and 700 professionals. The Client offers a strong alternative to the dynamics inherent with the Big-4 and national firms and offers an entrepreneurial, consultative environment with a variety of both SEC and closely held clients. Client is seeking an Audit Manager / Senior Audit Manager within its P&C insurance practice. Compensation is open but gravitating to the $125,000 - $175,000 range. A fuller job description is below:
Job Description:
Design the audit approach
Supervise audit engagements and keep partner informed of engagement status
Draft the audit summary memorandum, the management letter, and the presentation or key discussion points for the closing meeting with the management.
Build strong working relationships with clients
Manage staff performance, conduct timely performance reviews, and provide performance feedback
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an auditor in a reputable public accounting firm
Good knowledge of the P&C Insurance Industry
CPA a must; IFRS expertise is a plus.
Strong experience in large corporate assignments
Willingness and ability to travel to client location
Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service
Distinguished management and leadership skills, motivated by challenges and team work
Strong analytical and report writing skills
