CS Group Canada is offering a dynamic and growing environment to an experienced Senior Software Architect to join our team.
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Architect to join our innovative team in Montreal, Canada. In this role, you will lead the design and development of cutting-edge automotive software systems using AUTOSAR architecture. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our vehicle software platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automotive software architectures (SW base) using AUTOSAR concepts.
- Integrate Functional Safety (FuSa) principles into the software architecture of an ASIL C component.
- Collaborate with the application team to integrate the SW base with a Simulink model.
- Optimize software performance and reliability for automotive applications.
- Develop the architecture in compliance with ASPICE processes (SWE1 & SWE2).
- Solve complex software issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, preferably in the automotive domain.
- Strong experience with AUTOSAR systems and modeling tools like Rhapsody (or similar).
- Familiarity with ASPICE processes
- Experience designing software for functional safety
- Expertise in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Proficiency in software architecture design and UML.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Familiarity with automotive software development tools and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (French and English preferred).
- Be mobile and available to travel once a week.
