Job Description
Today we are looking for a Senior Team Lead to join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team in charge of the certification of aircraft Electronic Engine Controllers.
The Senior Team Lead report to the Business Line Director and head one or more technical teams . He will be entrusted with the following critical responsibilities:
Responsibilities :
- Contribute significantly to the company's growth through active participation in technical and commercial proposals, recruitment of prospective employees, and identification of essential training opportunities for staff.
- Ensure the highest standards of technical quality by rigorously reviewing and validating team deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive work packages and manage external suppliers when activities necessitate outsourcing.
- Establish and implement robust software development and verification processes to maintain product integrity.
- Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives with a primary focus on quality assurance, operational efficiency, and timely delivery. These improvements may encompass team organization, tool optimization, and refinement of test/review methodologies.
- Foster a culture of professionalism and dedication within the team.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison with clients, maintaining clear and consistent communication channels.
- Provide detailed weekly status reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
Qualifications
- Academic Credentials: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years in Development, Verification & Validation of Embedded Software within a DO178B or DO178C environment.
- As an asset, minimum 5 years as a team lead, demonstrating proficiency in team management, performance reporting, team development, and personnel coaching.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of critical software tools including SCADE, Matlab/Simulink, C, C++, Microsoft Office, DOORS, SVN, and Mantis.
- Communication Skills: Superior verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on clear and effective interpersonal interactions.
- Problem-Solving Aptitude: Demonstrated capacity for curiosity, autonomy, proactivity, and innovative solution development.
- Diagnostic Capabilities: Proven ability to isolate and resolve complex hardware, system, and software issues.
- Adaptability: Exceptional capacity for rapid acquisition of new knowledge and seamless adaptation to novel systems.
- Collaborative Skills: Strong team orientation with meticulous attention to detail.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both French and English is mandatory.
