About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled, hands-on Technical Lead and Software Architect to become the technical heartbeat of Crenno. We do not need a manager who only writes Jira tickets or sits in endless meetings. We need a "Maker" and a "Mentor"—someone who loves being in the trenches, writing production-grade code, and acting as a bridge between the CEO's product vision and the core engineering team.

In this role, you will lead by example. You will introduce emerging technologies, modernize our stack, and ensure we scale with quality and velocity. Most importantly, you will foster a psychological safety net for our core engineers, encouraging questions, brainstorming, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

• The 70/30 Rule: This is a highly hands-on role. We expect you to spend 70% of your time actively coding, building core backend modules, and solving complex technical challenges. The remaining 30% will be dedicated to designing architecture, mentoring our core engineers, and optimizing our CI/CD and SDLC.

• Architecture & System Design: Design end-to-end, scalable, and low-latency architectures for both our client projects and high-traffic internal SaaS/Game Hub platforms.

• AI-Driven Velocity: Actively leverage modern AI coding companions (Cursor, Copilot, Claude) and Agent Frameworks to drastically accelerate development cycles. We measure success by the speed and quality of output, heavily multiplied by AI leverage.

• Mentorship & Code Quality: Act as an approachable, "zero-ego" tech leader. Conduct rigorous Code Reviews, guide mid-level developers, and create an environment where asking questions is highly encouraged.

• Agile Execution: Translate the CEO’s business requirements into actionable, phased technical tasks and ensure rapid delivery without compromising structural integrity.

Technical Requirements

• Backend & System Design: Deep, hands-on experience in modern languages (Node.js, Go, Python, or Java). Expertise in microservices architecture, REST/GraphQL API design, and large-scale System Design.

• AI-Native Engineering: Highly proficient in using AI tools for code generation, debugging, and architectural planning.

• Databases: Strong background in schema design and performance optimization for both Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) systems.

• Cloud & DevOps: Proficiency in AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

• Frontend & Mobile Awareness: A strong architectural understanding of modern UI (React, Vue) and Mobile (Flutter, Swift, Kotlin) ecosystems to effectively guide cross-functional teams and spot structural flaws.

Education & Experience

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 6-10 years of proven experience in software engineering, coupled with recent experience as a Senior/Lead Developer or Architect.

• Must be an active coder. If you haven't pushed production code in the last year, this role is not for you.

• Fluent English to document architectures and consume global technical resources comfortably.

• A proactive, analytical, and "zero-ego" mindset—someone who answers difficult requests with "here is how we can solve it."
