Job Description

The Project Account Administrator I is responsible for planning and performing accounting functions that conform to current approval policies and procedures. Daily interaction with company personnel, managers, clients, and vendors is expected. This role will interface with Project Directors/ Managers, project staff, and CRB management to ensure all key controls around invoice processing, expense reporting, client invoicing, and collections/ accounts payable comply with company requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform accounting functions that conform to current approval policies and procedures

  • Interface with Project Directors/ Managers, project staff, and CRB management to ensure all key controls around invoice processing, expense reporting, client invoicing, and collections/ accounts payable comply with company requirements

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Up to two years of prior experience in a construction accounting position

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Deltek Vision accounting software a plus
  • General understanding of accounting standards and principles
  • Must be comfortable working to established deadlines during financial periods
  • Outstanding attention to detail and high level of accuracy should be maintained
  • Knowledge of basic financial/accounting/administrative duties
