Job Description
The Senior Project Manager will lead and manage construction projects of various sizes from inception through completion. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The Senior Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders, driving collaboration and excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects in regulated environments.
- Act as the primary liaison between CRB, clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded through proactive communication and problem-solving
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and CRB quality requirements.
- Mentor and support junior project managers and team members.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in life sciences or food & beverage industries.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Expertise in project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements is a plus.
Additional Qualifications
- Team-oriented individual capable of leading and managing integrated teams including subcontractors
- Demonstrated understanding of integrated project delivery including engineering, procurement, and construction processes
- Intermediate understanding of all core engineering disciplines, project execution, delivery in a design and construction
- ‘Design/Build’ experience a plus
- Obtain and maintain industry specific certification, including but not exclusive to: PMP & AECPMA
