Job Description
We’re looking for a strategic and experienced Cost Control Manager to lead financial oversight and cost control efforts for our Food & Beverage projects. This is a key leadership role for someone with deep financial expertise in the construction or AEC industry, a strong understanding of cost management, and the ability to lead teams and drive accountability in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial performance and cost control strategies for Food & Beverage construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with internal cost control processes and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with project teams to implement cost-saving measures and maintain financial health across projects.
- Lead and mentor cost control staff, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with project managers and schedulers to align financial planning with project timelines and deliverables.
- Navigate and lead through challenging conversations with professionalism and clarity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in financial management within the construction or AEC industry, ideally with exposure to Food & Beverage projects.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead with confidence and empathy.
Additional Qualifications
- Strong understanding of construction cost control, forecasting, and labor planning.
- Familiarity with project scheduling and planning is a plus.
