Job Description

CRB is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, pro-active, organized, and innovative Industrial Engineer to join our Consulting Services team. The successful candidate must possess the skills required to successfully handle multiple simultaneous complex tasks, execute project tasks, have a strong work ethic and drive to deliver for customers, and be a collaborative team player. This person will work closely with senior-level industrial engineering staff to meet client needs. This person will be expected to execute work on one or more projects simultaneously as delegated by the Project Leads.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse design

• Warehouse layout development

• Material handling and storage selection analysis

• Material movement and flow analysis

• Vendor coordination and estimate development

• Simulation and mathematical modeling including discrete event simulations, process simulations, continuous simulations and 

spreadsheet modeling

• Data analytics and modeling

• Lean / Six Sigma

• Schedule and production planning

 

Qualifications

•     

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering

• At least 3-5 years of experience required

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or industrial process projects is preferred

• Experience in warehousing and supply chain projects is required

• Experience with CAD required

• Experience with Revit preferred

• Experience with Excel-based macros and simulation tools (experience or academic knowledge with Discrete Event and Process Simulation software required)

• Coding experience or familiarity with a formal programming language is preferred 

• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma; Green Belt certification is preferred

• Knowledge of systematic layout planning, material handling equipment, and automated storage systems is required

• Ability to provide storage solution and material handling equipment analysis and recommendations is required

• Ability to think analytically and outside the box

• Excellent communication, presentation and computer skills are required

• Ability to travel up to 25% as required for client development and project execution (mostly domestic travel)

• Experienced data modeler with knowledge of SAS, SPSS or similar tools is preferred
