Job Description

CRB is looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual for the role of Global Lead of Commissioning, Qualification and Validation (CQV) Services.  S/he will be part of a team of subject matter experts who will establish business processes, leverage best demonstrated practices, and ensure a consistent client experience across all regions.  Primary focus will include developing capabilities to help regional teams navigate through regulatory requirements, devise and execute strategies that meet client timelines, and assess / mitigate risk – all while driving leaner processes in order to enhance CRB’s CQV offering.

The global CQV Services team will provide structure and framework regarding CQV, support regional teams in project oversight and will act as a resource for technical expertise and strategy for all regional projects from proposal stage to facility turnover.  This role will also participate actively in industry and other forums as a thought leader to create brand differentiation and pre-eminence in the market.

This position requires a high level of organization and communication; and the qualified candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external clients.  They will represent CRB in a professional manner, assist in winning work, and understand how their strategy directly impacts our collective success.

Responsibilities

  • Act as global CQV expert responsible for implementation and maintenance of CRB’s CQV Services strategy, processes, documents and templates
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships throughout the global organization
  • Drive global Process Harmonization, continuous improvement and sharing of best practices through global communities of practice
  • Support implementation of performance measurements necessary to continuously evaluate organizational performance and trends
  • Develop and maintain a collaborative working relationship with global Quality, regional leadership and CQV teams in order to ensure that customer requirements, regulatory standards and corporate policies are met
  • Implement tools to be used at CRB to conduct highly efficient CQV processes
  • Anticipate and incorporate industry developments and best practices to stay current with relevant technologies and assure and
    strengthen CRB’s competitiveness 
  • Represent CQV related topics during Audits and Inspections as required
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures through internal audits
  • Drive global Projects and Initiatives, act as senior SME and provide project support for critical CQV projects as required
  • Participate actively in industry and other forums to influence and enhance position of credibility and global preeminence

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Science or Engineering with minimum 10 years of operational CQV experience in Life Sciences.
  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated leadership in building high performing teams in an international environment within Life Sciences.
  • Experience in defending validation practices in internal audits as well as authority inspections (FDA, EMA, etc.)
  • Experience in managing multiple internal and external customers and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong Business acumen and communication skills
  • Fluency in English is a Requirement. German of French is a plus
  • Ability to effectively influence in a matrix team environment.
  • Occasional Business travel (30 - 50%)
