Job Description

The Regional Senior Recruiter is responsible for attracting top talent, providing for a competitive advantage to the company within our industry and fueling company growth. Seeking out professionals with relevant experience, education, and skills for our niche industry will help us develop our organization with the right staff.  This position can either be a regional role or a corporate role, as assigned.

This position must work with hiring managers in the region to fill company needs. Attracting, screening, and selecting qualified personnel amongst a wide pool of potential applicants and networks will be required. Scheduling and facilitating interviews between the hiring manager and relevant parties, in coordination with local HR resources as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Hiring Managers to design and implement an overall recruiting strategy for the office/region
  • Identify and lead initiatives related to the improvement of recruiting strategy, processes, resources and tools.
  • Set and implement key priorities and metrics to gauge measurable, trackable results
  • Engage in CRB’s SD3 activities in concert with overall Corporate endeavors
  • Participates with Management in identifying and sourcing talent
  • Negotiate contracts with outside recruiters; coordinate with HR to ensure favorable T&Cs in line with CRB’s standard
  • Prepare and post openings to appropriate job outlets
  • Source and attract candidates using personal network of contacts, social media, attending industry meetings, career fairs, etc.
  • Screen and track candidate resumes and applications
  • Keep Recruiting Database up-to-date with all recruiting activities for the region
  • Work with Regional HR Specialists to process people through the hiring process
  • Conduct phone screens and interviews using reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates in a timely manner
  • Assess applicant’s relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitude in accordance with the open positions’ roles and responsibilities
  • Act as a point of contact, building influential candidate relationships during the recruiting process
  • Mentor and assist in the development of junior level recruiting staff (including SD3s)
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • BS in related field or equivalent years of experience
  • 7 or more years of experience as a Recruiter
  • A/E/C experience preferred
  • International Recruiting experience, preferred
  • Proven success hiring and retaining qualified personnel
  • Solid interviewing skills under a variety of circumstances (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, etc.)
  • Ability to implement and utilize appropriate assessment tools in alignment with desired outcomes
  • Familiarity with databases and applicant tracking systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision-making and judgement skills, and ability to work independently
  • Strong ability to motivate others, resolve conflict, and work in a team environment required
  • Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality with regard to sensitive data and information required
  • Willingness to travel (DACH)
  • Languages: Fluent in German (C1+), ability to communicate in English (B2+), French (B2+) is a plus
  • Valid work permit for Switzerland/Germany or able to obtain a permit
