This position will work in direct support of Enterprise Network Architecture and Security initiatives.  Primary focus will be the implementation, management and security of our global hybrid-network.  Secondary focus will be as an escalation path for 24/7 operations and support center. This position requires a highly collaborative and team-focused candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide deep engineering and maintenance support for:
• Wireless, wired, virtual and cloud LAN/WAN technologies (Meraki, Cisco, Juniper, Riverbed, VMWare and Azure)
• telephony and collaboration technologies (ShoreTel, MS Teams and SharePoint)
• Security Technologies (Palo Alto Firewall, Global Protect VPN, PKI, SIEM, Vulnerability Response)
• Securely manage, at scale using secure coding practices, across multiple platforms using interactive scripts with parameterized inputs, in support of our overall security program
• Applies advanced analytical troubleshooting skills to resolve highly complex issues
• Employee must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Travel as required

• Advanced understanding of various interconnected network platforms, network protocols and software, including deep understanding of OSI and TCP/IP models
• Detailed knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, RIP)
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively on large, highly available computer networks supporting critical applications
• Highly developed problem-solving skills analyzing network problems, performance of fault isolation, problem resolution and service restoration
• Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team
• Strong ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization
• Bachelor's degree in related area; and/or equivalent experience/training
• Must have a minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT, configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, Voice and collaboration systems)
• Cisco Certified Cyberops or Network Associate or relevant certifications/experience
• Experience with Multiple operating systems - ESXi, CentOS, MS Server/Desktop, IOS
• Experience with network devices - Meraki, Cisco, Juniper, Riverbed Juniper, Palo Alto firewalls
