Marketing Coordinator 

Working for one of the UK's leading industry experts, we are hunting that very special person who has a foot in both traditional and digital marketing. Reporting the Head of Marketing you will work closely with the digital and creative teams to support the initiation and delivery of new ideas and inspiring content both on and offline. This will include new product launches, newsletters, design stories, competitions, promotions and offers linked to the individual brand websites.

Key Responsibilities

Writing engaging content for the Group websites in the form of product descriptions, newsletters and promotional activity
Working with the analytics team to ensure relevant keywords are utilised for all product copy, targeting and optimising the right traffic to the websites
Liasing with the wider marketing team, ensure newsletters are engaging and relevant, reflecting activity relating to seasonal product categories, promotions, new product launches and specific campaign targeting
Working with the in-house marketing and design team by coordinating and collating ideas for inspiring content from multiple on and offline sources
Liaise with PR and creative teams, to ensure all offers and promotions are communicated in advance
Work with the Head of Marketing, external PR Consultant and creative team to initiate new ideas and inspiring content for press and social media, to include new launches, design stories, competitions, promotions and offers linked to the individual brand websites
Research and communicate interesting content and promotional activity for new product launches from direct and indirect competitors
Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies to ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments in particular mobile marketing
Communicate scheduled marketing activity to the wider team to ensure all business units are aligned
Collate all magazines monthly and identifying advertising and PR activity from Group companies, ensure this information is communicated to the wider team

Key Skills Required

This role would be suit a marketing coordinator candidate ideally with a degree or equivalent in a Digital Marketing (or equivalent experience) related subject. Proven copywriting and editing skills will be important in this position so it is crucial that you have an excellent grasp of written English and ideally have a portfolio of examples to demonstrate this. You will demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in your work because you will have accountability for driving multi-channel content.

We need a great team player who is organized and capable of working in a fast paced environment where you will need to embrace and drive improvements and change to keep on top of the latest digital trends.

It would also be an advantage if you have analytical skills including the use of web analytics and Adobe skills would be a bonus too in this varied role.
